The Department of Community Development is the principal agency responsible for administrative and technical support for the Planning Board, the Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Historic Preservation Commission, and the Environmental Commission of Evesham Township.

In addition, the Department of Community Development provides administrative and technical support for the Township Land Use Code (insofar as it relates to use of property), administrative review and approval of Zoning Permits for commercial and residential properties, and the enforcement of the State of New Jersey Uniform Construction Code through Construction - Department of Permits and Inspections. The Department of Community Development is also responsible for the administration of the Affordable Housing Program.

Zoning Map

The Township Zoning Map is adopted by Ordinance and is revised overtime as the result of Master Planning, which may include additions of new zones, changes to existing zones, or redevelopment zone overlays.  The link below will open the current Zoning Map which includes links further online resources including the Online Municipal Code.
