Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) Information

The Evesham Township Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is made up of Evesham residents in grades 6th – 12th who have an interest in politics, government, and community service.

Members actively participate in the learning experience of how government performs on a local level, connect regularly with councilmembers and other governing members, and are able to hold multiple leadership positions within the committee.

YAC also serves as a community resource to organize and deploy volunteers for critical community activities. Throughout the year, members participate in different community and volunteer events, earning service hours while helping to improve the quality of life in the community.

The group also advocates for mental health and well-being not only for fellow students, but for the community as a whole. If you are looking for more information on this subject, please click on our Mental Health Resource list.

YAC offers opportunities for new students to join at any time, and volunteer opportunities are coordinated and monitored by the management team in the township. If you are interested in joining, please fill out the Membership Application and Release Forms and email them to [email protected]
