Recycling - Accepted Items

Recycling is collected by Burlington County via Curbside Single Stream Collection. Single stream is the process through which all curbside recycling materials can be collected from the same recycling container.

Items collected curbside are as follows:

  • Glass Bottles & Jars
  • Aluminium & steel food and beverage cans
  • Empty aerosal cans (remove cap, leave nozzle)
  • Plastic bottles & Jars (must have a #1 or #2 on bottom)
  • Clear plastic berry or tomato boxes marked #1
  • #5 plastic food containers such as yogurt cups, sour cream, baby wipe boxes & take-out food containers
  • Waxed cardboard cartons such as milk cartons, broth, juice containers
  • Newspaper and cardboard (Cardboard should be flattened)

REMINDER: Batteries of any kind are NOT recyclable through Burlington County Curbside Recycling Collection (Blue Carts) -
