Trash - Collection Hours/Schedule

Trash collection in Evesham Township is conducted on weekly basis in each neighborhood on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (holidays may affect collection - see link below)

The day on which trash is collected in a neighborhood is dependent upon where a neighborhood falls into one of four zones.

For Trash Collection

Please Do....

  1. Continue to use plastic bags, especially for food waste. This will help keep the container clean and odor-free.
  2. Simply roll the cart out on collection day by 6 a.m., and place the can at the bottom of the driveway in the same spot your container was delivered. Make sure the arrow points toward the street as directed on the lid.
  3. Make sure the container is clear of mailboxes, poles, parked cars or any other obstructions.

Please Don't....

DO NOT place any of the following materials in the container:

  • No recyclables
  • No bulk waste
  • No brush/weeds/grass
  • No household hazardous materials
  • No flammables, paints or thinners
  • No remodeling or construction debris
  • No hot ashes
  • No metal pieces or items
  • No Computers/TVs or electronics

Trash placed for collection on both accepted and non-accepted streets may not be placed curbside for collection more than 24 hours before the scheduled collection time and must be placed in a type of container approved by the township. Residents are reminded that ALL CONTAINERS MUST BE REMOVED FROM CURBSIDE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE SCHEDULED COLLECTION TIME.

In addition to the township's curbside collection, Evesham Residents can bring trash items to the township's Public Works Facility, located at 100 Sharp Road. For more information, please visit Your Public Works Yard Page.

Bulk Trash Collection

Bulk Trash may be placed for collection in accordance with the Quarterly Collection Schedule or as part of the on-demand, fee based Special Bulk Pickup collection service. Cooperation and attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated. Violators may be subject to penalties as provided by the Township Code. If you have any questions, please contact the Public Works Department at 856-983-2798 ext. 6910 during normal business hours.
