ADJOURNMENT POLICY

• Please be advised that all matters will proceed on their scheduled date unless/ until an adjournment request is submitted to and approved by the municipal court. If a postponement is received by the court, it should not be assumed that it will be granted. Postponements are not entitlements or a matter of course and are not to be considered granted unless confirmed by a municipal court staff member.

 

• All postponement requests must be submitted within a timely fashion.

 

• Any postponement request is at the discretion of the court and the court reserves the right to request any proofs relative to such request.

 

• Postponement requests must be submitted through either email, fax or JEDS. (CHOOSE ONE OPTION)
