Evesham Township officially closes on its purchase of the 176-acre "Beagle Club" property at 477 N. Elmwood Road

Today Evesham Township officially closed on its purchase of the 176-acre "Beagle Club" property at 477 N. Elmwood Road!

The township is currently in the process of developing a concept plan as we seek to utilize the land as a passive park for our residents. Mayor Jackie Veasy and all of Township Council truly hope every member of our community can enjoy the space for generations to come!

Per the purchase agreement, the township will continue to lease the property to the former owners for a period of six months during their transition off of the site. As such, the property is not yet directly open to the public.

However, we ask everyone to stay tuned for a future announcement from the township as we plan to hold four days in the upcoming months where members of the public will be invited to tour the site!

We’ll also soon share details of the final community-wide input meeting for the park concept plan to take place in May. Residents will be invited to offer feedback on what will become the final concept plan for the site.
