The Burlington County Board of Taxation has put a process in place for property owners covered by "Daniel’s Law" to have their specific personal information redacted from the tax list.
Daniel's Law provides active or retired 1) judges, 2) prosecutors or 3) law enforcement officers the ability to request that government agencies remove their home address or unpublished telephone number (or those of immediate family members) as disclosed on the internet or otherwise made available to the public through the Open Public Records Act (“OPRA”).
To have such personal information redacted from the tax list, individuals covered by Daniel's Law should visit Burlington County's website at https://co.burlington.nj.us/1916/OPRA-Daniels-Law to view necessary forms. Once completed, forms must be filed with the Burlington County Board of Taxation. Individuals who need more information should contact the Burlington County Board of Taxation by phone at (609) 265-5056 or through email at
This process outlined above only relates to the tax list as held by the Burlington County Board of Taxation and the Evesham Township Tax Assessor's Office.
If property owners covered by Daniel's Law wish to have their information redacted with any department in Evesham Township, or any other department on the county or state level, those individuals must contact those offices directly.
