Evesboro Downs Inclusive Playground Grand Opening

Help us cut the ribbon on this amazing new playground with Mayor Jaclyn Veasy, Township Council, and all your friends and neighbors that evening at 6 p.m.

Families are invited to enjoy all the new playground has to offer, with FREE ice cream for the first 500 guests!

This 12,000-square-foot project is a welcoming space where children of all abilities can play side-by-side, as made possible by a $731,000 Green Acres grant from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection under the State's Jake's Law.

This modern play area features a rubber safety surface that makes navigation smooth and effortless for wheelchairs and strollers as they access the multi-story play structure.

The site also has outdoor percussion and multi-sensory play zones, Zero-G chair swings and a dedicated toddler area crafted for the youngest park-goers. To make every family’s visit safe and comfortable, the township has added expanded ADA-compliant parking and added plenty of new bench seating and shade structures.
