Juneteenth Celebration

Evesham Township will hold our second annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 18. The event will feature music, food, vendors, speakers, performances and more!

Juneteenth is the nation’s oldest commemoration of the end to slavery! The day commemorates June 19, 1865, when Union soldiers arrived in Texas with news that the Civil War had ended.

Evesham Township is joining with our Human Rights Advisory Council and The Diversity & Equal Opportunity Network (DEON) for this great event. 

Mark your calendars now and join us on June 18 at Savich Field (510 E. Main St.) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
