Evesham Police Department receives official certificate of re-accreditation from New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP)

NJSACOP WebThe Evesham Township Police Department has received its official certificate of re-accreditation from the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP), as presented by Program Director Harry Delgado at the Jan. 25 Township Council Meeting.

In October the department successfully passed the rigorous process to become re-accredited through NJSACOP. State accreditation requires adherence to strict standards. These standards ensure best practices in law enforcement operations and administration in the Evesham Police Department

In 2016, Evesham Township Police Department was the first municipal law enforcement agency to be state and nationally accredited. The Department is currently one of two municipal agencies in the state of New Jersey to be state and nationally accredited.

Accreditation is made possible by the dedication and hard work of all officers and civilian staff.

Thank you again to our department and NJSACOP on behalf of Mayor Jaclyn Veasy, Deputy Mayor Eddie Freeman, Councilwoman Heather Cooper, Councilwoman Pat Hansen and Councilwoman Ginamarie Espinoza.
