Join Evesham Township Mayor and Friends team to support 2026 Burlington County Out of the Darkness Walk for suicide prevention on Oct. 17

All members of the Evesham community are once again invited to join the Evesham Township Mayor and Friends Team on Saturday, Oct. 17 as part of the 2026 Burlington County Out of the Darkness Walk for suicide prevention.

This annual event helps raise funds to support the mission of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, which works diligently to provide research, education, advocacy and support for those affected by suicide.

Thank you to everyone who can join to save lives and bring hope to those in need on behalf of Mayor Jackie Veasy and all of Evesham Township,

This year's event will once again be held at Laurel Acres Park (1045 S. Church St.) in Mount Laurel Township. Check-in begins at 9 a.m., with the walk starting at 9:30 a.m.
