Evesham Green Team seeking nominations for 'Go Green Award' to recognize individuals & organizations whose initiatives have helped support a more sustainable community

Evesham Township and The Evesham Green Team are currently seeking nominations for our new Go Green Award - an annual recognition created to honor those who have made a material contribution to protecting our natural resources and building a more sustainable community!

We are currently accepting nominations for local residents, businesses, institutions, organizations, schools, associations, clubs and more located right here in Evesham Township. Eligible nominees should have taken action within the last two years that resulted in the direct improvement or protection of our local environment.

To enter, please submit a nomination statement of up to 400 words that highlights a green initiative and supporting materials such as photos or documentation. When describing the efforts, please explain how the project addresses some or all of the following criteria:

• Environmental impact - Makes a contribution to improve and/or protect the environment and/or protect natural resources.
• Community impact - Implements an environmentally friendly or sustainable initiative that benefits the community.
• Cooperative effort - Involves a cooperative effort between multiple entities or organizations.
• Education & outreach - Promotes public awareness or education. Reaches a wide number of stakeholders.
• Sustainability - Environmental impact is on-going. It is purposefully designed and/or implemented in such a way that its environmental impact should be or may be on-going.
• Innovative – It is a creative solution to a problem. It contributes new information on how to improve the environment.
