Public Hearing Notice: Township of Evesham Planning Board to hold Public Hearing on Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan Element of The Township Master Plan

PUBLIC NOTICE
TOWNSHIP OF EVESHAM
PLANNING BOARD PUBLIC HEARING FOURTH ROUND HOUSING ELEMENT AND FAIR SHARE PLAN
ELEMENT OF THE TOWNSHIP MASTER PLAN

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Evesham Township Planning Board will con-duct a Public Hearing on February 19, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Building Council Chambers at 984 Tuckerton Road, Marlton, NJ, pursuant to the Municipal Land Use Law (N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1, et seq.), and N.J.S.A. 40:55D-13 and N.J.S.A. 40:55D-28, to consider adopting the Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan element of the Municipal Master Plan prepared by Christopher Dochney, PP, AICP, CME, Township Affordable Housing Planner.

 The Amended 2025 Housing Element and Fair Share Plan are part of the Township Master Plan and provides an overview of the municipal housing stock, a projection of probable future housing construction, analysis of demographic and employment characteristics, a determination of the present and prospective need for low and moderate income housing, and consideration of lands that are most appropriate to accommodate low and moderate income housing.

Further, the Amended 2025 Housing Element and Fair Share Plan specifically outlines the Township's plans to satisfy its “fourth round” affordable housing obligation 2025-2035.

The Amended 2025 Housing Element and Fair Share Plan will be on file and available for public inspection during normal business hours in the Office of Community Development and on the Township's website https://evesham-nj.org/boards/planning a minimum of ten days before the hearing.

At the hearing an overview of the Amended 2025 Housing Element and Fair Share Plan will be presented and the Planning Board will hear public comments. The meeting is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. Any person interested in this matter will have the opportunity during the hearing to present any comments as well as to ask questions.
