Community invited to discuss Rancocas Creek Watershed Plan on Dec. 3

Rancocas MeetingAre you an area resident or business owner in the Rancocas Creek Watershed? If so, please join on Dec. 3 for this important conversation about the Rancocas Creek Watershed Restoration and Protection Plan.

ANJEC (Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions) has partnered with Rutgers Cooperative Extension Water Resources Program in developing a Rancocas Creek Watershed Restoration and Protection Plan (RCWRPP).

The RCWRPP will aid municipalities in developing their own Watershed Improvement Plans, but input is needed!

Meeting hosts are seeking input on various issues. Do you know of areas that flood with every storm? Are there erosion issues along roadways lakes and streams? Do you believe there is need for new or better infrastructure (nature based or traditionally built) to deal with stormwater runoff? Input is requested from those in all landscapes, from urban to suburban to rural.

This in-person meeting is on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 6:30 PM at the Evesham Township Municipal Building Court Room, located at 984 Tuckerton Road.

This meeting is specifically for residents of Berlin Township, Evesham, Medford, Medford Lakes Borough, and Voorhees.
