Fall Leaf Collection begins in sections of Evesham Township starting Oct. 20

Fall leaf collection in Evesham Township will begin on Oct. 20 in Sections No. 1 & 2, as outlined in the attached flyer.

All other sections will be collected in numerical order once the previous section is completed. As in years past, orange signs will be posted in areas of town advising the beginning date for each section. All areas will have at least one week advance notice. A second collection will begin once first collection is completed.

NOTE: Crews will be working even more diligently this year, with the goal of starting the second round collection sooner. 

When you see the orange "On or About" signs posted in your neighborhood, please have your leaves out and ready! Do not assume crews can return to an address on an individual basis if leaves were not out by the posted date. If you miss the first round, don't worry! The second-round collection is still planned. 

Other tips:

• Leaves should be raked to street along the curb (Loose piles, No Bags).

• Keep cars off street during dates posted.

• Bagged leaves may be brought and emptied at the Public Works Facility at 100 Sharp Road.
