Evesham Township once again partnering for 2025 Backpack Collection Drive to help local students

It's that time again! We're proud to announce the township's fifth Annual Backpack Collection Drive in partnership between Evesham Township, the Evesham Township Police (NJ) and HUGS - Hands Uniting Generations!

Over the past five years this annual drive has collected hundreds of backpacks filled with school supplies for students right here in Evesham Township whose families might be facing financial hardship.

This year the only items needed are EMPTY SCHOOL BACKPACKS!

This is once again thanks to a very generous donation from LaScala's Fire and Ilkem Granite & Marble, who have already provided all the needed supplies for the inside of the backpacks.

Now through Aug. 22 supporters can donate empty backpacks at one of the two following drop locations:

• Evesham Township Municipal Building at 984 Tuckerton Road: Any day of the week at any time.

• ETSD Administration Building at 25 S. Maple Avenue: Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
