Free information session to be held on Aug. 28 for residents to learn about saving money on their electric bill through the New Jersey Community Solar Energy Program

Evesham Township is partnering with Solar Landscape to host a free information session on Aug. 28 to share the benefits of New Jersey’s Community Solar Energy Program.

The program allows residents to receive cost savings associated with solar energy without installing panels on their property, regardless of whether you rent or own your home,

Residents of Evesham are eligible to enroll and subscribe to a share of the discounted solar electricity generated on local commercial projects such as those built by Solar Landscape, a New Jersey-based company that also has projects locally in Marlton.

After a resident’s assigned project is energized, a discount of at least 15% or more will be applied to the solar credits they receive on their PSE&G or ACE bill for their share of the solar project, reducing their electricity costs.

Discounts for households that enroll this summer are currently estimated to begin appearing on the electric bills of enrolled households starting this winter and continuing throughout 2026.
