Inspections

Construction Permit inspections are performed from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m Monday through Friday.

Per Uniform Construction Code 5:23-2.18(C)1 all inspections shall be received in writing.  You may request your inspection online or via email.  Phone calls/messages are no longer an option for inspection requests.

You may request your inspection through our 24/7 online SDL Portal or you may request inspections via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. Please include your permit number, worksite address, your name, your phone number, the subcode(s) the inspections is under, and the type of inspection you need in your email or voicemail.

**All inspection requests are reviewed on business days between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. If your request is received after 2 p.m., you will not receive confirmation until the next business day.**
