Volunteers are invited to join Evesham Township on April 22 and April 26 as we plant trees in some local neighborhood parks and other areas around town as part of Earth Day 2025!
Plantings for Tuesday, April 22 (Earth Day) will be held at The Blue Barn Rec Center / Community Garden at 10 a.m., and then again that day at Brush Hollow Park at 4 p.m.
Plantings for Saturday, April 26 will take place at Heathrow Park and Ravenscliff Park, each at 10 a.m. respectively.
This event is part of Evesham’s Sustainable Jersey grant (funded by the PSE&G Foundation) in partnership with Pinelands Preservation Alliance. We will be planting native trees throughout town to replace some Ash trees that were lost as well as to improve local habitat and to help absorb stormwater.
We are looking for about 10 volunteers for each location, but no one will be turned away. Sign up using the QR code on the flyer or use https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C094CA8A92EABF4C70-56331961-earth
Tools will be provided, but please bring your own gloves.
Plantings will be led by your local elected officials, members of the Environmental Commission, and the Department of Recreation and Open Space.
