To accommodate those residents who wish to dispose of bulk trash in addition to the quarterly collection period, the Township now offers a special request bulk collection service. Residents who have a need for a bulk trash collection at a time outside of the regularly scheduled collection dates can contact the Public Works Department to take advantage of this service. This is a fee based service with a minimal service charge of $40.00 for each requested collection.

If you would like to utilize this service CLICK HERE to pay now.

Residents who wish to utilize the special request bulk collection service are asked to review the below requirements:
•Bulk trash is defined as any item of refuse that is too large to fit into a normal refuse container and which cannot be recycled.
•Debris items such as carpet and lumber must be cut into 4-foot lengths, bundled and tied.
•Bundles cannot exceed 40 pounds.
•Residents are asked to place bulk items at the curb away from the regular refuse containers and any other obstacle.

The following items ARE NOT considered bulk trash:
•Pressure treated wood,
•Televisions, computer equipment and electronics
•Household paint
•Used motor oil.
•Scrap metal and appliances

Pressure treated wood, televisions/electronics, household paint and used motor oil are all considered hazardous waste and cannot be placed curb side for collection. Residents may bring these items to the Public Works facility during operating hours; Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.. Hazardous substances such as paint and used motor oil will be accepted during the first Saturday of each month.

Scrap metal and white goods will continue to be collected on a monthly basis at no additional charge. Residents may call the Public Works Department at 856-983-2798 to schedule a collection for scrap metal, appliances and brush.
