The Department of Recreation & Senior Services mission is to provide programs, events and activities and to maintain Open Space and Recreation Facilities to enhance the quality of life for Evesham residents of all ages.

The mission of the Evesham Township Recreation Department is to strengthen community through programs, services, and facilities. These components enhance personal development, promote healthy lifestyles, encourage community involvement and foster environmental stewardship.

Our major emphasis is providing opportunities for personal enrichment, youth development, fitness and well-being for all ages.

The recreational resident comes first: our number one priority at all times, is to serve our active residents

We are committed to meet or exceed facility expectations by providing fast, friendly and helpful services.

The department offers programs and classes starting as young as 17-months-old through senior citizens. Classes are offered quarterly and a newsletter is available online.

The recreation department offers summer activities and camps for pre-schoolers to teens. The current programs being offered are listed under the appropriate categories.

The department also sponsors and or facilitates the following special events through the rec department and with the Evesham Celebrations Foundation:

Taste of Evesham
Independence Day Celebration
Summer Concerts
Harvest Festival

Free transportation is also offered to senior citizens to travel throughout Evesham Township five days per week.

Recreation maintains parks, playgrounds, athletic fields and courts, as well as open space areas. The department administers and grants permits for the use of township facilities.

Lost and Found

Items found at the Memorial Sports Complex, Blue Barn and fields may be turned in at the Blue Barn or the Department of Recreation office located at the Gibson House, 535 E. Main Street. For information contact (856) 985-9792.
